Our December 18th JIVE PARTY with Laura B and special guests has had to be rescheduled to April 16th 2022. If you have already bought a ticket, this will be reissued by email. Joining Laura on-stage for a blistering night of good time, jive, swing and R&B will be Ian Gillon Jr (a hot Jive Party favourite already as leader of his own band Juke Joint Jump) and Jackson Sloane (lead singer with The Rhythmtones and also no stranger to The Rivoli). Jackson and Laura put on a spectacular show together at the Twinwood Festival 2021. If you were there you won't want to miss!
You'd have to be comatose not to enjoy this line-up with some of the very best musicians in the country recreating that authentic 50's sound. Couple that with the iconic chandeliered, totally unique Rivoli Ballroom, for a perfect Saturday night out.
The evening kicks off with a jive class aimed at beginners (8:30pm-9pm).
Cancellations: If the event cannot go ahead as planned, we will re-allocate your tickets to a future Jive Party event. If you are not happy with that you can let us know and we will refund you the cost of your ticket.
COVID-19: Your ticket purchase is subject to acceptance and compliance with any government rules or recommendations that may apply on the date of the event. If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, been told to self-isolate or believe you may have been in contact with anyone who has COVID-19 then please do not attend. Contact us beforehand and we can move your ticket to another date.

The fabulous retro Rivoli Ballroom in Crofton Park, SE London, is the venue for our regular monthly jive nights with a great live band, DJs filling in and a beginners’ jive lesson to kick the evening into swing. Our ever-popular Saturday nights have a lively buzz, great jive, swing and original R&B music and everyone from 18 to 80 taking to the floor! Jive Party is for beginners and experts alike. It’s usually on the 3rd Saturday in the month (but check listings for details.)
Jive Party is run by dance enthusiasts who book the venue and the bands, teach jive, promote and organise the nights. The events are independent of The Rivoli.
T&Cs
1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
